General meeting February 2023

Myponga identity Don Clarke entertained all present with entertaining stories and anecdotes from his rich and varied life. Don started his schooling at Wattle Flat School and then attended Myponga travelling on the school 'bus' from Myponga South the Hindmarsh Tiers and back to the school. He worked in many areas of South Australia as a farmer, EWS technician at the newly built Myponga Reservoir, maintenance supervisor at the Bolivar sewerage treatment works and at the Murray Bridge abattoir stockyards. Since returning to Myponga in later years he has been, and still is, involved in numerous community activities including sporting clubs and Lions.
