When the Society was initially established, one of its earliest undertakings was to compile comprehensive data on the cemeteries within the district. This involved gathering information from a variety of sources, including Church Burial Registers, Cemetery and Council Registers, local family histories, the SA Death Register, family notices published in newspapers, and transcripts of headstones. We have made every effort to ensure the accuracy of this information based on the available sources.
