Store at the entrance to the Yankalilla Memorial Park (102 Main South Road). Edwin Baldwin ran it as a billiard parlour, and also sold sweets. Walter Kearney was the first recorded owner in 1867, and various storekeepers and wares followed in subsequent years. They include Henry Newman (miller), his son Frederick (harness making), Edith Clayton (use not known), Lambert Sampson (motor mechanic) and Charles Henry Deverson (barber and tobacconist) from 1944 to 1965. The original building burnt down in 1946 and Deverson rebuilt it as a two storey building and extended his business to include drapery.

Yankalilla & District Historical Society supports the cultural, spiritual, ecological and economic regeneration of the Aboriginal peoples of this place assisted by the actions and power of individuals, organisations and governments.
